Mind Reality
Mind-blowing – literally. The idea that what we consider to be reality, isn’t.
We think that what we see and experience in the world around us is an objective physical existence. All our senses convince us this is true.
But it isn’t.
As Plato – and many others have taught – reality isn’t “out there”. It is created within the mind and projected outward. We experience it as if its source had nothing to do with us, but our senses lie.
In the words of A Course in Miracles, everything we think about the world “rests upon the witness that your senses offer you. Yet witness never falser was than this.”
Wow.
We are the author of the script, not an unwitting participant.
With that comes incredible liberation. As Plato says, “we can change our reality by changing our mind.”
Let’s practice recognizing this deep truth and changing our mind to experience more peace.
