Revealing Truth

For things to reveal themselves to us, we need to be ready to abandon our views about them.
~ Nhất Hạnh

Judgment clouds everything. It obscures our vision and makes understanding impossible.

We don’t see things as they truly are because we project onto them a meaning based on past learnings and future expectations. As we read in A Course in Miracles, “I have given everything I see all the meaning that it has for me.”

Per the wise counsel of Thích Nhất Hạnh, we need to let go of all our judgment in order for things to reveal themselves to us.

Which would you rather see: the false projection of judgment or the radiant beauty of truth?
